Bright Ideas Group participated in an agency review by the Macon-Bibb County CVB in the Fall of 1999. Over 12 regional and local advertising agencies were considered. Bright Ideas Group was awarded the contract after presenting a new campaign featuring The Song & Soul of the South. The campaign elements were developed and launched in January 2000. The campaign has received over twenty awards for advertising excellence and international recognition for its website, also designed by Bright Ideas Group. In addition, market research studies recently released show a phenomenal increase in tourism conversion rates, growing from 22% to an estimated 50% in only six months. Also, the Southeast Tourism Society Travel College is including this campaign as a role model in classes taught to destination/tourism marketing professionals. |
